What started as a leap of faith
T’s Treats & Creations LLC was started in 2021. I had been praying to God for Him to answer my prayers about what my purpose was. I had all these gifts and did not know how they would all work together. In June of 2021 one of the Mother’ from the Church asked me to call her. She wanted me to create a ‘life celebration’ backyard party for her. She was celebrating her mom’s birthday who had been deceased for 7 years. I accepted the challenge. I inquired how she heard about me. She said God told me you could do this for me. As time went on her daughter called me to ask could I send her some pictures of my work. I said I sure can. She then said my mom said you could do this, but she hasn’t seen any of your work. I said I know, and I was surprised that she knew I could. The daughter said, “Well, I would like to come over with my mom to meet you and drop off the deposit because I need to see who you are and why my mom chose you. Because I have connections with people who she could’ve chosen that I know does this type of work. I told her I understood. They came over and the daughter was listening to her mom, and I talked about the event. The daughter then says I feel like I could talk to you. She said no seriously talk to you about my issues I am dealing with. I said let’s talk as I was praying for God’s guidance in my head. As she said some things with me, I begun to share what God was downloading in me to share with her. For her this conversation was confirmation of all the things her therapist had said and her praying mother. At that point I knew T’s Treats & Creations LLC would be about creating special occasions for others, along with sharing God’s word with them. It could be through a small prayer I share, an encouraging word or just a listening ear. I try hard not to allow myself and personal thoughts to influence me on the words God has given me to share. This has been a journey of being totally used by God to offer my Christian services to them who may or may not know him.
